Dear Mike - I have fond memories of your mom from Barstow, CA.  My dad was in the USMC and served with your father.  My mom, Aileen Campbell, was very good friends with your mom.  Our families got together for cookouts and just hanging around.  You might remember my brothers John, Ken and George Campbell.  I remember you and David hanging out with them.  I send my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mom.  (My mom passed 3/17/2023.)  Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers and will remember the wonderful woman your mom was.

Mike I know how close you were with your Mom and how painful it must be for you to lose her. Florence was a constant source of joy, and I hope there is some consolation in knowing how well you loved her throughout her long and happy life. Lean on your beautiful family and bear your grief together. She cannot be replaced but she will live forever in your hearts, and in all the hearts she touched. Aunt Dody was and is my most favorite Aunt. She and Uncle Bob will always be at the top of my fondest memories list. My nickname was Joby when I was a kid(which I didn't really like much!) but whenever I saw Aunt Dody and she would give me that heart-melting smile of hers with a big old, "Hi Jobe..."? I learned to love it when it came from her and Uncle Bob. 
They will both be missed by all of us Bradley kids and I am sure we all have suffered a great loss for us, but they are both up in Heaven having a great time with Dave and all of their pups and we will all be having another love filled family reunion together again with them someday.

My fairy godmother, my Aunt Dody, was always an important figure in my life.   She exuded kindness, caring, good humor and love.   Her love for her family was (is) unending.   I remember the excitement whenever we’d hear that Uncle Bob and Aunt Dody were coming to town!  Just bling around them made life seem better somehow.   Our first big family trip was in the 1970’s, when my parents hauled most of their 7 kids in a station wagon to Virginia from Northern New York State.   Our visit was one of my core memories!   How gracious Aunt Dody was then never changed in the many times I visited them after…. Always welcoming, always with great stories and those sparkling blue eyes.   Her hugs were absolutely perfect.   What struck me most was how much she and Uncle Bob loved each other…. Charlie and I would often chat about how they looked at each other with such romantic love after all those years together.   I know her life as a military spouse wasn’t easy, but she embraced it and I feel spent her life in service to our country every bit as much as her beloved “Robert.”   She is reunited now with so many loved ones and in sure there is a little bit more laughter and a new source of love now up in Heaven.    Till we meet again, Aunt Dody, love you forever.

Aunt Dody and Uncle Bob were my Marine Corps Parents.  I was stationed at Camp LeJeune (or more affectionately known as Swamp LaGoon) in 1974 (just after Boot Camp) and I spent many a 72 or 96 hour pass at their home in Aquia Harbor.  I could have went home to Northern NY but it was much more fun going to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Dody (and of course at the time David).  It was Uncle Bob who called me in Morocco when David was killed in his car accident.  They pulled me off post (I was there helping to guard a "secret" Naval Installation) telling me that a Major Bradley was calling from HQMC with an urgent message.  That was the first time I think it hit home to me that Uncle Bob  was a Marine!  (I was reminded of it several times later on! But that is an Uncle Bob story not an Aunt Dody one.) All I could ask Uncle Bob was how's Aunt Dody and he told me that she was much stronger than him right then.  That was Aunt Dody, strong....

I remember when they would come to grandmas and grandpa‘s for the big family reunions, and we would all just sit in the yard and all of us kids would play the adults would sit and talk. I’m gonna miss her hugs, her gentle, sweet voice, but she is no longer in pain, now she will be with her husband and Grandma and my dad and she’ll be looking down on all of us  I will  you aunt Dody love u so much

I don't have a one memory they are many I spent every summer for 2 was and sometime Thanksgiving I'll miss you aunt Dody rest in peach
