He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He graduated from Central High School in 1966 and immediately began working for the railroad as a machinist, where he later retired from CSX. His laugh was contagious and his gardening was one of a kind. He was well known for raising and releasing his doves. Big game hunts in Montana with his twin brother Nick were always very memorable and special to him.
He is survived by his daughter, Regina DiGennaro; son, Joseph DiGennaro; brother, Nick DiGennaro; sister, Loretta Trebach; four grandchildren, Gianna, Brooke, Richard, and Joseph; four great grandchildren; and his wife, Lorrie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann and son Anthony “Tony Boy” DiGennaro.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel at 2:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
He will greatly be missed. Life is not forever, Love is.
