Bonnie Franklin

Bonnie was a dedicated employee of the US Postal Service until retiring in the late 1990’s. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, feeding the fish in her pond, and watching old horror movies.

She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives, Bruce and Janet Franklin of Stafford, Steve and Darlene Franklin of Stafford, and William and Susie Franklin of Woodbridge; her brothers, Roger and Jerry Young; her sister, Peggy Verna; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, alzfdn.org.
