He is survived by his daughter, Holly; his step son, Wade and his fiancé, Terry; his niece, Robin; his nephew, Matthew; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (pictured here w/him) in August of this year; his soulmate, Janet, in Jan of 2019
and his son, Russ, in July of 2005.
Brian was born in NH, but spent his childhood in Fayetteville, Arkansas where his father was Director of the University of Arkansas Library from 1940 to 1971. Brian then moved to VA and was employed as a physicist at Fort Belvoir, where he worked on the Night Vision Goggles Project. He was a talented amateur photographer and enjoyed Classical music. He loved the land here in VA where he and Janet built a home together over 40 years ago. He also made sure to watch as many Washington Football games as he could.
