Charles "Jimmy" James Davis

On Saturday June 30, while surrounded by his loved ones, Charles “Jimmy” James Davis was called home to be with the Lord. Jimmy was born on January 13, 1956 in Manassas Virginia. He enjoyed many things such as fishing, NASCAR races, and doing mechanical work (or in his words “working on junk”). The greatest happiness in his life came from spending time and making memories with his family and friends. Jimmy was hardworking, generous, and kind. At any given moment he was ready and willing to help anyone in need and always put other people first. Jimmy will be remembered by his wife, Janet; his children, Jimmy Jr., Julie (Jake) Orlikoff, Jamie (Jimmie) Whitehead, Jennie, Jeremiah, and Jordan; his seven grandchildren; his brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Louise Davis. Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 6, 2018 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Dumfries Cemetery.
