Charles John Plutkis

He is survived by Sylvia Plutkis, wife of 61 years; daughter, Jeannie Wood; son, Michael Plutkis (Tina); grandchildren, Ashley Plutkis, Victoria Icenhower, Jonathan Plutkis, Sarah Plutkis, Abigail Wood, and Heather Plutkis; sister, Julie Myers (Dave); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Plutkis; John Wood (husband of Jeannie), and parents, Michael and Anna Plutkis.

Charles had a successful federal service career, most notably as the Executive Director of the Navy Regional Finance Center. He spent his spare time and retirement as an avid model railroader, collecting trains since he was a little boy. He also took pride in having the greenest lawn at every house he owned. Above all, he enjoyed being a husband, father and grandpa.

A visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A burial will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia.
