A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she found great joy in her family, friends and faith.
Clarene was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Earl C. Woodward.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Judy McDaniel (Stan) and Kathy Carter (Mike); her much loved grandchildren, Jacob McDaniel, Kyle Carter and Shelby Carter; her great-grandson, Isaiah McDaniel; her sister, Valarie Hino, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held in her hometown of Bryson City, North Carolina as well as a memorial service to be held at Fredericksburg Baptist Church at a later date.
