Outside of school, Connie was known to be at every game and tournament and blowing horns and shouting on the side, truly an active and sport parent.
Connie was loving and supportive. She truly valued the importance of family and friendship. She had time for anyone and everyone and could be counted on to help you even when she was experiencing health issues herself.

Not only was Connie involved in her community at the local level she was involved at the national level as well. She volunteered for Charity events and was heavily involved in the Democratic National Committee. She worked the campaigns for President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
