Denver Preston Steele

He was born November 13th, 1976 in Joplin, Missouri to Victoria Mutrux and Charles Steele.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Mutrux (Mona Love) and Geraldine Murtux; and grandparents, Richard and Janice Steele.

He is survived by his wife, Derice Steele of Stafford, VA,; his children, Dakotah (Georgia), Joseph (North Carolina) and Eliase (Stafford). As well as his siblings, Christina (Richard) Strong, Tara Steele, Jacqueline Taylor (Andy Kelly), Levi (Megan) Steele and several nieces and nephews.

He was a decorated Army veteran who retired with over 20 years of service with multiple deployments overseas. He was an active member of American Legion Post 290 as a Legionnaire and Legion Rider.

He will be remembered for his genuineness and witty humor. He loved to ride with his Legion rider family, spend time with his family and live life to the fullest. Above all he cherished his family, friends and comrades and his generous spirit touched all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 290, located at 1151 Mountain View Rd., Fredericksburg, VA. The service is scheduled for October 7, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm.
