

Georgia Lee Duncan passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 84. Born October 24, 1941, in Carroll County, Virginia, to the late Delmon and Ollie Quesenberry. She was raised in Dugsbur, VA before marrying the love of her life, Bernard L. Duncan in York County, SC. They made a life in the United States Air Force and made friends around the world.
Georgia dedicated her life to serving the Federal Government for 30+ while supporting her husband during his 50+ years serving the United States Air Force (Active Duty and Civil Service).
Georgia was a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international, non-collegiate Women’s Sorority focused on social, cultural, and civic enrichment. Georgia joined in 1969 and over the next 50+ years served in every Chapter office (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, and Recording Secretary). Georgia delighted in being with her “Sisters” and the many new friends she made along the way. Georgia enjoyed attending our State Conventions, participating in our Service Projects, especially the Salvation Army Stockings at Christmas, and our Socials – Her baked potatoes and fixings at socials were always a hit.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard L. Duncan; parents, Delmon and Ollie Quesenberry; brother, Turner Quesenberry; and nephew, Gregory Quesenberry.
Georgia is survived by her brother, Arvil Quesenberry; her daughter, Vicki L. Packwood; son in law, Kenneth A. Packwood; granddaughter, Alixas Hale and grandson in law Dillon Hale; great-granddaughter, Dakota Hale; and grandsons, Schylar A. Packwood, Zackary A. Packwood, and Dyllan A. Packwood.

Visitation will be held at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, on June 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, on June 7, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
Burial at a later date will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, 1 Memorial Ave., Arlington, VA.
