Golden "Tom" Ferris

Tommy is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Ferris; his daughter, Carol Ann Myers; his sons, Ronald Matthew Ferris and James Dean Ferris; his step daughters, Debora Sue Riley and Lorie Ann Cross; his step Grandchildren and Great GrandChildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Wyatt and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his parents, Virgie and Robert Ferris; his brothers, Robert, Noah, John and Jim Ferris and sisters, Mable Barwick, Omega Madison, Agnes Sanderson.

Tommy retired as a meat manager at Giant food after 31 years of service. Tommy loved to cook and do gardening, he loved to hunt and crab and fish. He also was a small craft airplane pilot. He also helped his wife Janet with her cleaning business. Tom also enjoyed traveling and enjoyed spending time with his family and brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. When God created Tom he created one of a kind for sure.

We will miss his presence in this life.

A visitation for Golden will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
