She was born on December 4, 1954, in Alexandria, VA the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Shirley (Dodd) Allen Jr. She retired from Stafford County Schools.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph T. Allen.
Survivors include her loving husband, Don C. Mills; one daughter, Heather Shelton of Colonial Beach, VA; one son, Don C. “Buddy” Mills, Jr (Daisy) of Culpeper, VA; seven Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 3:00-5:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 22, 2025 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford with Rev. Mickey Creed officiating. Interment will be at 3:00pm on Monday at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
