

James was born in Canton, OH on March 23rd, 1973 and was raised by James Osborne Sr. and Patricia Baker. After high school, James enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in 1999. From there he worked in security at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. for many years before he joined the Prince George’s Police Department.
James had a passion for serving others, many times through grilling, cooking, and repairing cars. James had a talent for making people laugh and loved telling funny stories. He also loved fishing, off-road driving in his beloved Subaru and building Lego sets in his spare time.
James is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, TaTanisha and his twin children Jonathon James II and Samaya Cheyenne – both eleven years old. He is also survived by siblings Kimikka and Quasi and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on December 6th, 2025 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service located at 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A repast for family only will be held at the Funeral home directly after the service. A cremation will be held at a later date for his immediate family.
As we mourn his death, we also celebrate his life and legacy of love and service to others.
