

She was born at home on March 2, 1949 in Accotink, VA to Roy J. and Mable Breeden.
Joy worked for Fairfax County Public Schools as a bus driver and special education teacher until her retirement in 2006.
Her interests included spending time with friends and family, boating, traveling, knitting and reading. She also devoted much of her time being a “grandma” to the many children who knew and loved her.
Joy is survived by her daughter, Tammy Mullins (and John); 2 stepdaughters, Trixie Wallace (and Paul Angel), Roxie Gocke (and Ryan); 10 grandchildren, Megan Mullins, Amanda Pritchett, Robert Mullins, Brian Hunt, Katie Hunt, Connor Gocke, Adrianna Angel, Liam Gocke, Grady Gocke and Mason Angel; and 1 great grandchild, Riley Hunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Wallace and son, Robert E. Hunt, II.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday, March 11th at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, March 12th at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
