Leonard P. Ludovico

Leonard Phillip Ludovico, 86, of Stafford VA, passed away on Monday 31 July 2017 at Greenfield Assisted Living in Stafford, VA. Leonard was born on 26 May 1931 in Buffalo, NY to Anthony and Lucrectia Ludovico. Leonard married Dorothy Irene Penner on January 5th 1956 and they were married for over 50 years. Leonard served a tour of duty with the Army National Guard, Hq, 5th Infantry Division where he earned the rank of Sergeant. Soon after his honorable discharge from the Guard Leonard joined the Amherst, NY Police Department where he served with distinction for over 30 years and retired as a Desk Lieutenant. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy. Survivors include 2 sons Leonard of Stafford, VA and Phillip of Springhill, FL. Brother Frank, Surprise AZ, Sister Anna Baudo, Buffalo, NY. Four grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Nick and Madison. A service of remembrance will be held at the Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, VA on Monday, 14 August 2017 at 1:00PM
