Ms. Perry was a charter member of the Sand Witches Fishing Club in Virginia Beach, and a very active member of the First Flight Lions Club in Kill Devil Hills, NC. She was known for her love, compassion, and caring for anyone in need. She was caregiver to her sisters, niece, and many friends before their passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Elizabeth Ann Snowden; her 8 sisters; her 1 brother; her husband, William J. Perry, Sr.; 2 sons, Walter Lee Perry, and William J. Perry, Jr.; and 2 grandsons.
She is survived by her 5 daughters, Helen Phillips, Martha DeGaray, Peggy DeMasi, Cathy Jo Bernard, and Janet Sue Reed; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery at 1 pm.
