Marie Slade Hilsinger

She was born on March 8, 1929 in Sempronius, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Lena (Burgess) Slade. She worked in sales for the Army Times and later in life she worked in Geriatric Care in her home. In retirement years her greatest achievement and Joy was serving alongside her Husband John on 3 different church Missions and Serving in the Washington DC. LDS Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She was preceded in Death by her loving Husband John R Hilsinger Jr. they were married for 54 years.

Survivors include one son, Bruce J. Hilsinger (Victoria) of Stafford, VA; three daughters, Sandra Willard (Mickey) of Corapeake, NC, Cynthia Erkenbrack (Richard) of Pinehurst, NC, Linda Turner (Ralph) of Stuarts Draft, VA; 12 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services that will be held 10:00am Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA. A viewing will be held from 9:00-9:45am at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford prior to the graveside service

A luncheon to immediately follow at the LDS Garrisonville Chapel-161 Eustace Rd. in Stafford.

Service attendance is for Family and a few close friends. Marie had many friends and she loved them All. However, her wishes were for an intimate small family gathering.
