Mary Lester

Susie retired from Prince William County Public Schools, where she dedicated many years as a Cafeteria Manager. She was married to Benny Lester Sr. for 52 wonderful years.

Susie is survived by her son, Benny Lester Jr.; and his wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Alan Lester and his wife Mallory, Laura Dillon and her husband Shane; great-grandchildren Rylan Lester, Adeline Lester, Joelle Dillon, and Charlotte Dillon. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings Penny Wheeler, Darlene Acker, Debbie Kaye Howdyshell, Linda Rhodes, Nelson Howdyshell, and Gary Howdyshell. Susie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Gladys Howdyshell; and her siblings, Wilmer “Bobby” Howdyshell and Twila Ann Williams.

Susie’s family and friends will remember her strength, dedication, and the love she shared throughout her life.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
