She was born in Manhattan, NY. May 11, 1933.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Herbert Edward Hardwick and Bernice E. Gransbury.
After a 2 month battle with brain cancer she passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was a veteran of the Air Force and was an Attendance Officer with the Prince William County VA School system, where she retired in 1993 after 25 years.
Nancy was an avid golfer in Virginia and in Florida where she was a winter resident for the past 17 years.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Brueggen; brother, Robert Edward Hardwick of Binghampton , NY; five children, Loren Aiken, Jon Brueggen, Robert , Richard and Ronald Andrews; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2013.
