Priscilla Love

Priscilla Love, 79, of Syracuse, New York passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2024 with family by her side. She was born August 19, 1944, in Syracuse NY to William and Helen Mattison and was raised in North Syracuse on Buckley Rd with her seven siblings. As a single mom, with a heart of gold, she happily raised her two children (Anthony and Annette) in the Syracuse, NY area, in James Geddes Housing.

Priscilla (Momma Love) was employed by Upstate Medical Center, University Hospital for over 30 years as an Operating Room Medical Technician. Priscilla had a long and distinguished history of public service in her community and a profound love for her family. Priscilla adored what she did, and others around caught her infectious passion for helping others with Love. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, Otto Love; son, Anthony J. Williams; parents, William and Helen Mattiso; sister, Gertrude Davey; and brothers, William (Billy) and Walter Mattison.

Priscilla is survived by her daughter, Annette L. Brown son in law Tyrone Brown; stepdaughters, Claudia Love, Beverly Thompson, and her son Anthony’s partner Brenda L. Dominguez-Templeton; her grandchildren, Ryan J. Williams, Jakwon M. Williams, Shaniya L. Williams, Juan C. de la Cruz, Samantha de la Cruz, Janine Love, Jennifer Love, and James Love; her great-grandchildren, Isaiah T. Williams, Noah R. Williams, Millahni R.B. Darbey, Cameron Love, Javon Love, and Alyssa Love. Brothers Rodney (sister-in-law Barbara) Mattison and Roger Mattison; and her sisters, Patricia Laundry and Deborah Williams.

A visitation for Priscilla will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:30 AM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. An interment will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA.
