Reginald Bernard McFadden, age 65, of Manassas, VA passed away Friday, December 30, 2020 at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. He was born on September 14, 1955 in West Palm Beach, FL the son of Willie J. and Gloria (Chandler) McFadden. He was an engineer and the proud founder and owner of Freedom Systems LLC. A graduate of West Point, Class of 1977, he served in the US Army . Survivors include his loving wife, Rebecca J McFadden; his parents, Willie and Gloria McFadden; one son, Benjamin McFadden (Amanda) of Strawberry Plains, TN; two daughters, Pamela Stoyko (Vitaliy) of Ft. Mill, SC and Elizabeth McFadden of Alexandria, VA; three brothers, Harrington McFadden, Willie J McFadden II, Howard McFadden; two sisters, Cassandra Taylor, and Jonell McFadden; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is predeceased by his son, Nathaniel McFadden; and his grandparents Harrington “Hamp” and Altemease Chandler; his granddaughter Mariah McFadden. After military service, Reginald worked for various government contractors throughout the country and finished his career with the US Government by serving as an executive. He then quickly started his own company (Freedom Systems LLC) with great success. As an avid car enthusiast, he collected cars from around the world—from Mercedes, Porsche, Cadillac to race cars—his love of cars was endless. He was always in search of new horizons and endless adventures, he will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford, VA. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30am prior to the service.
