About Sameh:
Sameh was born in Egypt and later grew up in Virginia, where he built the foundation of the life he would go on to create. He proudly served in the United States Army, including deployment to Iraq as a Chemical Operations Specialist. His service reflected his strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and commitment to something greater than himself.
After completing his military service, Sameh married his wife, Jessica, and began the next chapter of his life centered on family. The values he carried from his time in the military stayed with him — shaping the way he lived, worked, and showed up for the people he loved.
One of the things Sameh cared about most was timeliness, often saying, “If you aren’t 10 minutes early, you’re already late.” It was his way of showing love through preparation and responsibility.
Personal Reflections:
Above all, Sameh was deeply proud of his children. He saw each of them as individuals, recognizing and encouraging what made each one special. He cared deeply about raising them to be kind, respectful, and grounded, placing strong importance on manners, self-care, and growing into good people. Providing opportunities for his children—opportunities he did not always have himself—meant everything to him. Whether it was ballet, basketball, baseball, soccer, or martial arts, Sameh found great joy in being able to support their interests and passions.
Sameh was most proud of being able to provide for his family. It was one of the ways he showed love every day. Through his steady dedication, hard work, and acts of service—especially taking care of things around the home—he ensured his family felt supported, protected, and cared for. His love was quiet but constant, shown through responsibility, sacrifice, and presence rather than words.
