She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer and a grandson, Christopher.
She is survived by daughter, Sandy Smith of Arlington; two sons, Greg and wife Sharon and
Dale and Fiancee Tami both of Stafford; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith and Fiance Allen, Brie Austin and wife Shawn, Elizabeth Purvis and husband Brandt and Tyler Talbert; great grandchildren, Bradley and Cathlynn.
Mrs. Smith was a 20 year volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Dept.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday August 9 at Mullins & Thompson Home Stafford chapel. A Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at noon at Quantico National Cemetery with Chaplain Lisa Ostendorf officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contribution be made to AH, Hospice Foundation Inc., 50 N Laura St. Suite 1800, Jacksonville, Fl.32202
