She was born on July 24, 1940, in Manila, Philippines, and lived a life marked by love, patience, kindness, compassion, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
She was present for every milestone—weddings, birthdays, graduations—celebrating each with joy and pride. Her many photo albums overflow with smiles and memories, each page a testament to the deep love she held for those around her.
Zenaida had a rare gift for making everyone feel special and cared for. Her home was always open, filled with the comforting aroma of her famous Filipino dishes and the sound of her hearty laughter—a place where warmth and generosity knew no bounds.
She was the devoted mother of two daughters, Leveriza (Robert) Hammond and Grace (Romeo) Itchon, for whom she lived her life with steadfast love and sacrifice. She was also a proud and adoring grandmother to four cherished grandchildren: Topher, Gillian, Katie, and Andrew.
Zenaida will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and treasured memories will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A memorial celebration is being planned, with details to be shared soon.
