I remember Andy from our early morning drives to watch football matches being shown live at Rumors in Yonkers back in 1992. The take-away cup of coffee in his hand as always. His love of the game and frank opinions of it prompted so many conversations between us and I hope he continues to shout abuse from his spot on the terraces forever more.

To know Andy was a blessing. His warmth,humour and generosity have been felt by all who knew him, but especially to us. He was our much loved son in law, a rock and a blessing to our beloved daughter Clare. The ache in our hearts will take a long time to heal but our special memories will stay forever.

Andy's sense of humor and charm is what I will remember most. Always one to put on a sheepish smile or crack a joke (in his charming Scottish accent) even when things were challenging. I would like to give my deepest sympathie to Andys family, my prayers are with all of you.I worked with Andy as an apprentice when I was 19 and worked with him off and on for 7 years when ever I went to a job where he was we would always laugh all day,he was the best,I looked up to him and always took his advise.I remember Andy saying "My mother taught me to laugh"God rest his soul,He will never be forgoten.

Clare, Lisa and Amanda. you don't need us to tell you what a wonderful man Andy was; a great husband, father, uncle and brother in law. Andy was loved and cherished by us all, Alex and Lydia have good memories of times spent with you both and I will miss my sparring partner. Andy was loving, he had a fantastic sense of humour, and a razor sharp tongue, we loved his banter and flirtacious behaviour! Andy's passing has left a huge gap in our lives and we can only imagine the loss you all feel. Clare, Lisa and Amanda keep strong and keep looking after each other and you will get through this and find a way forward in your lives whilst keeping Andy's memory alive
