Anne Yaggi

Anne Ellen Yaggi passed away on Tuesday October 26, 2022 at 85 years old. Anne was born on January 12, 1937 to William and Helen Greaney in Stamford, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her husbands Timothy Egan and Maurice Yaggi, her siblings Jane Dolcetti, Elizabeth Greaney and William Greaney, and her daughter Susan Egan. She is survived by her three children, Timothy, Rick, and Jennifer, her nine grandchildren, Curtis, Jacqueline, Rachel, Meghan, Bryce, Zach, Connelly, Emily, and Ryan, and two great-grandchildren, Graham and Jinsuke.

Anne spent much of her life as a preschool teacher and caregiver, was a devoted parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and was an equally devoted New York Yankees fan. She was deeply proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and never missed a moment to talk about them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family may call at the Leo P Gallagher Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT on Sunday, October 30th from 2-4PM for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 403 Scofieldtown Road, Stamford, CT on Monday, October 31st at 10 AM. A burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
