
Eugene Edward Epps, 89, of Stamford, CT went to eternal rest on January 25, 2018. He was born March 13, 1928, in White Plains, NY, to the late Eugene Epps and Lillie Bell Wilson- Epps. He is predeceased by his two sisters, one brother Epps and his Aunt Susan Parks who raised him. He is a W.W. II veteran of the U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force. Eugene is survived by his loving wife Ida Vernice Epps of 50 years, and shared his love with his family, Doreen Deloris Harrison, LaVerne Evans, Clifford Evans and DeBorah Evans-Atkins, Sandra Evans, Vincent (Vinnie) Harrison and Albert Atkins Jr. He enjoyed the time spent with his eight grand-children and the great-grandchildren.
Mr. Epps was employed at the United States Postal Service in Stamford, CT as a Laborer/Custodian for 28 years before he retired. While he was not working, he dedicated time to his wife and his ministry as a Jehovah Witness. In addition, he is survived by, one brother-in-law Roy Blyden, and two sister-in-laws; Louise Prittchet, Luna Nibbs and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

The viewing for Eugene Edward Epps will be held on February 2, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, located at 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905.
A memorial funeral service for Eugene will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 611 Fairfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06902.
