
On February 23, 1915 to Vincent & Carmina Testa (Angrasano), one of ten children. She survived six sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by one son, Robert Duggan, born to her first husband, Matthew Bouselli. Robert resides in Louisville, KY.
Helen moved to New York City in 1943 and married Edward P. Duggan in 1949. At this time she was working for Bell
Telephone Laboratories. She worked for Bell Labs for 25 years before moving to Stamford in 1967. She worked for
various companies in Stamford until she retired in 1980. She had skills in wiring technology, quality control and quality
recognition. She moved into senior housing at 51 Grove Street shortly after retiring, living in the same apartment on
the sixth floor.
Helen had done some travelling over the years, mainly tours of New England and Canada. She was an avid reader, but
found that difficult due to failing eyesight. She was a remarkably resilient and determined lady with a strong personality.
She had been in and out of hospitals many times in recent years. Helen remained interested in politics and world affairs.
Her mind remained very active and sharp to the very end. She is survived by one grandson, one granddaughter, two
great granddaughters, and one great grandson, all of whom live in Michigan.
Vistitation is at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home; 2900 Summer Street; Stamford from 1-3 P.M. on March 3 with a
Memorial service to follow at 3 P.M. officiated by the Rev. Clement Birkelbach.
