
Henry lived a very active life and had many people who loved him dearly. Jo-Ann and Henry have been married almost 33 years and they traveled extensively around the world. Of all their travels, they enjoyed cruising the most. It was Henry's lucky day when he married Jo-Ann!
Henry was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He served in the navy for two years and pursued his education, ultimately earning his PhD in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University. He had a long career working as an industrial psychologist for a variety of companies including Raytheon, Xerox and Citibank.
Henry was married to Joan Hester Brenner and together they had five children. He was predeceased by his first wife Joan and his children Jim Brenner, Christine Brenner and Daniel Brenner. He is survived by his wife Jo-Ann as well as daughters Mary Betsy Brenner and Jeanne Brenner. In addition, he has six grandsons (Jonathan, Benjamin, Jeremy, Andrew, Matthew, Andrea Bobo) and one great grandchild, Wesley. He was also close with his nephew Mike Coss and Mike's wife, Jean Coss.
Henry was active during retirement serving as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of ARI, Inc. He spent many years helping the organization so they could help as many clients as possible. He was also active with the Connecticut State Department of Mental Retardation as well as being a board member for the Unitarian Universalism Congregation of Stamford.
Henry's memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Thursday May 7 at 2 pm., 20 Forest St., Stamford, CT. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Stamford Hospital Foundation.
