Irene T. Ryan (nee McGuire), 89, December 6, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Richard, loving mother of Patrick (Eleanor), Jean, Mary and Nancy. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Sean and Christopher. She is also survived by her dear sister Margaret Kreischer and many nieces and nephews. Born in Manhattan she graduated from Bayside High School, NY. Blessed with a quick wit and a love for laughter, she attended The New School for improv classes. She loved entertaining and surrounding herself with friends and family. A Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held Thursday, December 10 at 10:45 am at St. Anthony of Padua, East Northport, NY. Internment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. There will be a Memorial Mass Saturday Dec. 12th at St. Clements Church in Stamford at 11:00.
