John Charles Miolene, age 62, left this world unexpectedly on January 28th, 2025, to join his father, Philip Anthony Miolene. John died of natural causes while working the night shift at a job he was proud of and loved as a Security Guard in Norwalk, CT. John was born on Okinawa, on July 11th, 1962. He graduated from Rippowam High in 1980 and studied at Worcester School of Art in Massachusetts. John continued his interest in art, loved his motorcycle, his dog, Rocky, any chance to be on a beach, swimming, boogie boarding or playing frisbee, any chance to be with family. John was a smooth, excellent skier, a daring skateboarder and gifted mimic bringing to life voices from Twilight Zone, or Adam 12. Above all, John gave a great deal of time, love and attention to supporting and being a companion to his Mom. John had many challenges in his life, lately many physical ones, but recently he was able to find direction and comfort in his Catholic spirituality, frequent Mass and prayer. John’s essence was strength, gentleness, humor, and a humble demeanor. He was a good brother, and a thoughtful and fun uncle. John is survived by his mother Regina who will miss him greatly, loving siblings; Philip J. Miolene, Paul (Leanne) Miolene, Elizabeth (Dennis) Gallagher, along with his nieces and nephews; Elissa, Cassandra, Claire, Kylie, Brian (Hannah), and Reagin, who will all especially miss his easy-going manner and great sense of humor.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 at Saint Cecelia’s Church, 1184 Newfield Ave., Stamford on February 15. Peace and happiness be with him. We will meet again.
