Born Oct. 22, 1961, He is the son of the late Charles Standard and Nancy Drake Standard.
A former longtime resident of Greenwich, John Standard was well-loved in his community, a dedicated father and husband, and a talented, hardworking painter and business owner. John especially loved fishing, gardening, and being outdoors.
He is survived by a son, Todd Standard, 22; a daughter, Lauren Standard, 19 ; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Standard was predeceased by his wife Tracy A. Standard of 24 years.
