Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Mervin, in 1997. She is survived by her two children, Steven
Grushkin of New Canaan and Carol Levy of Terre Haute, Indiana. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Laura Williams of Zionsville,Indiana, Lisa Grushkin of NYC, Brian Grushkin of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jonathan Grushkin of New Canaan, and Deborah Russell of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by 5 great –grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter in law, Arlene Grushkin in 2009.
