Dr. Juo-Yu Roy Kao

Born in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, R.O.C on Mar. 24, 1957.

Departed on Mar. 16, 2012 and resided in Stamford, CT.

Dr. Juo-Yu, Roy, Kao, age 54 of Stamford, Connecticut, formerly of New York City, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2012 at Stamford Hospital.

Roy graduated from the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Taiwan Tunghai University and came to United State in 1983. He earned his Ph. D degree of Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. He had worked for Cytec Special Chemical Industries for thirteen years prior to his illness which he faced courageously.

In addition to his devoted wife, Yaa-Ching , Alice, Liour of Stamford and Taipei Taiwan, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jen-Yuan, Christine, Kao.

The family would like to thank the staff at Stamford Hospital, Vitas for their compassionate and loving care of Roy.

Services were held privately on Sunday March 18, 2012 at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home. 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT 06905. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
