The family will hold a memorial mass at the Holy Name of Jesus Church at 4 Pulaski Street in Stamford on Saturday, September 22nd at 9:30 am.
The family would also like to thank all the caregivers from Home Instead, Comfort Keepers and Senior Helpers and Masonic Hospice who greatly enhanced Larry’s quality of life as his illness challenged him in his last years.
We would also like to thank all the professionals at The Stamford Hospital, especially those in the ED, ICU and 2nd Floor North who gave him comfort in his final days. A special thanks to his physicians, Dr. Joshua Herbert, Dr. Robert Lovegrove and Dr. Sarah Gamble for all their support and wisdom over the years.
In lieu of flowers, Larry preferred donation be made in his name to the Darien Library, the Noroton Heights Fire Department, or the Stamford Hospital Foundation. For anyone who feels compelled to honor him, he always suggested that they do so by spending time with someone they love and remind them why they do.
