Lois Barbara Bennett, 83, of Stamford, Connecticut passed away peacefully on June 25, 2013 in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is survived by her children Craig and Rhonda Bennett, Jay Bennett and Randy and Cindy Simons Bennett and four grandchildren, Paul, Mark, Jackson and Carson.
Lois was born October 24, 1929 in Stamford and lived most of her life in her hometown. She graduated from Stamford High School and Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. She loved children and spent most of her working life as a nursery school teacher. She also loved dogs, and cherished her toy poodle Peaches.
A graveside service will be held July 1 at Temple Beth El Cemetery, 350 Roxbury Road, Stamford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org/support.
