Maria Boccuzzi

Maria married her late husband Teodore Boccuzzi, and devoted her life to raising her beautiful children, giving them a life filled with warmth and love. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Stamford Connecticut for most of her life, and very often enjoyed one of her favorite past times of cooking delicious meals for her entire family and friends. She is survived by four of her children, Modestina Plotkin of NC, Filomena Waybright of FL, Angelina Neylan of Stamford, CT and Gerarda Sciglimpaglia of Bridgeport, CT. She was predeceased by her two sons Jack and Angelo Boccuzzi, as well as her brother and two sisters.

Maria is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Lori, Richard, John, Joshua, Brandon, Brook, Jenna and April, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 30th 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 31st 2017 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schyuler Avenue, Stamford Connecticut. A burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien Connecticut.
