Mike enjoyed sports over his years. Playing baseball, tennis and running track in high school. In later years, bowling (high score 277), fishing and hunting. (His wife Patty was always grateful he wasn’t successful at hunting. It was more like spending the day walking around with his rifle). Loved playing video games and watching drag racing. Particularly following John Force’s team.
He always enjoyed rock and roll. Favorite bands included Twisted Sister, Black Sabbath, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Alice Cooper and so many more. Other likes were trips to the casino, playing the lottery, watching Mystery of Oak Island and Skin Walker Ranch. He especially liked discussing those shows with Sharon Weaver.
Mike worked in electronics. Something he really enjoyed. Some of his jobs included repairing video games, felting pool tables, installing home alarm systems, assembling semi-conductors at Perkin-Elmer and safety systems for airplanes at Safeflight Instrument Corp. The work at Perkin-Elmer included working on the Space Shuttle.
He was a loving husband and father. A true friend. His passing will leave a void that will be hard to fill. May everyone find comfort in the wonderful memories they made with him. Rest in peace. Until we are together again.
