Patricia Meyers

Patricia Ann (née Meehan) Meyers , age 67, of Darien, CT and Edgartown, MA passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Stamford Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Bill Meyers of Darien, CT and Edgartown, MA. Tricia was born in the Bronx, NY on October 26th, 1947 and grew up in Cortlandt, NY. She was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Meehan. Besides her husband, Bill, Tricia leaves her daughter Tracy of West Tisbury, MA and her son, Paul of Quincy, MA. She also leaves her son-in-law, Nick and daughter-in-law Sarah, her beloved grandchildren, Clover and Sawyer, her brother-in-law Frank and his wife Mary, her sister-in-law Ginny and her husband Jeff, her nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Tricia was active throughout her entire life. She especially loved skiing, and was able to see her grandson ski for the first time this past winter. Tricia and her husband traveled extensively, recently throughout Europe. She was happiest when spending time with her family and close friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00- 8:00 pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT. A funeral service celebrating Tricia’s life will be held the following day on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church 374 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT.
