

Born on September 25, 1959 in Port Au Prince, Haiti, he was the son of Remerson and Saintalia Bel-Jean
With over two decades of experience in the culinary world, Chef Remerciau closed that chapter of his life and embarked on a fresh quest: becoming a professional taxi driver. Despite the change in career paths, one thing remained constant - his commitment to serving others with enthusiasm.
A devoted member of Schilo SDA church, he embraced each day with enthusiasm, finding pleasure in travel, family gatherings, and athletic pursuits. He had a knack for making others smile through humor., always reminding them that being present is what truly matters.
He is survived by his brother Israël Bel-Jean and his children Woodlens Bel-Jean, Shedline Bel-Jean, Ravensley Bel-Jean, Alandly Christian Bel-Jean. Sister Saintileine Bel-Jean and her daughters Larochelle DjulanChy Larchelle Dlanska Larochelle Branly; sister Jesumene Bel-Jean her daughter Perrina Musac; brother Jacquelin Bel-Jean his son Ismael Bel-Jean. J'habite Rozane, Rozane Enold Matilde, sister Jacqueline Derick, Benord Ilanise, Pierre André, Rosemine Ludia, Sandra Bel-Jean. In addition his daughters Sinngride Bel-Jean Slutzkin Bongiorno husband Lello Brian Slutzkin Bongiorno, Leah Bel-Jean Thompson husband John Thompson, and Mutchama Bel-Jean Brevert. His grand children Ariana Bel-Jean, Malik Bel-Jean, Annyah Bel-Jean, Saniah Bel-Jean, Nathen Brevert, Amaree Bel-Jean, Lakayla Hall, Angel Rivera, Avigail Bel-Jean, Dessalines Thompson, Nova-Grace Thomas Bel-Jean, Mackandal Thompson, and great granddaughter Royalty Bel-Jean, his long time girlfriend Melodie Jacques and many aunts uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Remerson Bel-Jean, mother Saintalia Bel-Jean, his former wife and his sons Wyclif Bel-Jean, Ecclesiastes Bel-Jean, JimmyClif Bel-Jean and Blondes Bel-Jean.
Friends are invited to the funeral Service to celebrate his life starting at 9:00 am Sunday March 24, 2024 at Schilo SDA church located at 977 Hope st Stamford Ct repass will follow after the funeral service.
Interment to follow on Monday March 25, 2025 at 25 Camp Avenue Darien, Connecticut, 06820 for those who wish to attend the burial we will meet at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 10:00am located at 2900 Summer st. Stamford Ct.
