Virginia E Mierisch

Virginia is survived by her husband of 32 years, Stephen Mierisch children, Stephanie Mostowy (Scott) of Stamford; James Mierisch (Tracy) Colchester, CT. A brother James Wlasuk and sister in law Sue both from Oxford. Nieces Jodi Neubaum (Brian), Cori Wlasuk (Jody) 3 Great Nieces Kati, Jami and Olivia all from Oxford CT. Two grandchildren Aidan Mierisch and Melissa Mostowy both from Stamford. She is preceded in death by her Parents Alexander & Ethel Wlasuk of Greenwich.

Virginia was born on May 23, 1949 in Greenwich. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School in 1967. She Graduated from Berkley Business School in 1968 with a certificate of Secretarial Science. Virginia worked for James River Corporation, Fort James Corporation and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc where Virginia was an Executive Assistant to the CEO. Virginia was the Executive Assistant to Linda McMahon during her runs for the Senate.

Virginia was an organized and talented assistant. She was a fun, loving hard working individual who loved spending time with her family and friends. Beside her family her greatest joy was traveling with her husband to their yearly vacation spots of Las Vegas and Aruba.

The Family will receive visitors at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer Street Stamford, CT from 4-8pm, Friday July 1st. A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, July 2nd 10am at the funeral home.
