Dr. Libo of Stamford, CT, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died peacefully at home. Dr. Libo was born in Norwich, CT, the son of Betty and Louis Libo. He was a proud graduate of the Norwich Free Academy, Tufts University, and Tufts University Medical School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1955 and was the Medical Officer aboard the USS Northampton. He practiced general pediatrics in Brooklyn, NY for over 40 years.
Devoted husband of 63 years to his beloved wife, Libby. Loving father of daughter Sheryl (Max) of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; son David (Miriam) of Los Angeles, CA; and late son Andrew (Jean) of Larchmont, NY. He is also survived by his adoring sister Eunice Greenberg of New London, CT as well as 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, an aunt, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at Temple Beth El, 350 Roxbury Rd on Sunday May 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Riversville Cemetery.
