Betty Jo Guin Helms, 83, of Mt. Holly passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Peak Resources, Gastonia. She was born in Union County and was the daughter of the late Onus and Dora Williams Guin and the widow of the late Leonard Earl Helms.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Helms of Huntersville, Ernest Lee Helms and wife Camille of Clermont, Florida; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Hillcrest Gardens with Rev. Ron Watts officiating. The family will receive friends after the graveside service at Hillcrest Gardens.
