Elwyn Darelle Darelle Harrison

Rev. Elwyn Darelle Harrison, age 62, of Dallas, went to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina and is the son of Emma Mae Bolen Hambrick of Belmont and Alfred Emanuel Harrison.

Rev. Harrison was owner of Harrison Sanitation, Inc. of Dallas and was the Minister of Adventure In Faith Church, Alexis. Rev. Harrison was a loving son, husband, father, brother and grandfather. Rev. Harrison began his service of ministry in 1990 where he founded Adventure In Faith Church.

Rev. Harrison is survived by his wife of 45 years, JoAnn Cope Harrison; mother, Emma Mae Bolen Hambrick of Belmont; two daughters, Paula Jarrett and husband Wes of Dallas, Angel Doss and husband Rev. Ritchie Doss of Stanley; two sons, Timothy Harrison and wife Nikki, Joshua Harrison and wife Jessica both of Dallas; one brother, Ernie Hambrick and wife Teresa of Dallas; two sisters, Connie Beaty of Gastonia, Becky Fore and husband of Belmont; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Brock, Lance Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Alyssa Harrison all of Dallas, Emma Doss of Stanley and one grandchild awaiting the birth.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. Sunday at Revival Tabernacle Church, 212 South Main Street, Stanley, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday with the Rev. Robert Gittens and Rev. Lloyd Morgan officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly.

Rev. Harrison was preceded in death by his Step-father,Ernest Junior Hambrick.
