Hattie Anne Cobb

Hattie Anne Hager Cobb, 86, passed away November 18, 2015. She was born February 24, 1929 to the late Ed and Lucy Hager in Lincoln County. Hattie was extremely smart and creative. Her family will always remember her abilities to crochet, sew and knit anything. She was a talented cook and made the best fried apple pies. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Barbara Stevens and husband, Ben of Stanley, NC and Suzanne Rodden and husband, Mike of Denver, NC; three grandchildren, Erin Swearingin, Jason Rodden and Keith Rodden; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norrie Merritt of Cincinnati, OH and Janet Howie of Stanley, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alexander Cobb.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. Reverend T.J. Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow immediately at Hillcrest Gardens in Mount Holly.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cooks Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3413 Mt. Holly Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC 28216

To the family of Ms. Hattie ,, I want to thank you for allowing me to share Hattie with you...She was very special to me and I will dearly miss her.. My best memory of Hattie was she kiss me everyday we had the chance for our lives to cross paths..One min. she kiss the next she going knock the stuffing out of me..
