Patricia Ann Kirkpatrick

She was born May 24, 1945, in Gaston County to the late Frank and Clara (Anderson) Armstrong. Patricia was a loving wife and loving mother to her children, a loving grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was lovingly known as Maw Maw Ann.

Patricia is survived by three children, Melinda Moody and husband, Terry of Gastonia, Melisa Hovis and husband, Greg of Gastonia, Darrell Kirkpatrick and wife Crystal of Bessemer City; siblings, Mason Armstrong and wife, Frieba of Jacksonville, FL, Cecil Bingham and wife, Louise of Dallas, NC, Alvin Armstrong and wife, Mae of Franklin, NC, Becky Gillen of Mt. Holly; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Kirkpatrick.

A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia. The Rev. Mike Davis will preside.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley and from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
