William Fred Haithcox

Mr. Haithcox was a native of Iredell County, son of the late William Hugh and Lula Estelle Bell Haithcox.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of The Gaston County Last Man Club, retired manager from Family Dollar Stores and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Stanley.

Mr. Haithcox is survived by a son, William R. Haithcox of Dallas; daughter, Pamela Eggleston and husband Rich of Federal Way, Washington; two granddaughters, Malorie Haithcox, Meghan Haithcox; three brothers Roy Lee, Benny, and Tommy Haithcox all of Statesville; two sisters Rachel Holland and Nancy Davidson both of Statesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lillian Howard Haithcox and a brother James Haithcox.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church 512 Old Mt. Holly Rd. Stanley, NC 28164 with Rev. Dan King officiating.Burial will Follow in the Stanley Cemetery with military rites by The Last Man Club of Gaston County.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
