

Albert “Albee” Devivo passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2026, just two months shy of his 73rd birthday. Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 21, 1953. Al lived a life centered on family and dear friends. A lifelong New Yorker, he was a loyal passionate fan of the New York Yankees, New York Rangers, and New York Giants. He loved horseracing, casino gambling and traveling. He retired after a long distinguished career as a Security Supervisor with the New York Times in 2023. He was the beloved husband of Carollynne, father of Georgette, Grandfather of Hunter and brother-in-law of Anthony and Janet. He was also a devoted Uncle to Marco and Donna. Al was happiest being surrounded by his family and treasured friends, especially during the holidays and other memorable moments and milestones. He had a big personality and an even bigger heart and took great pride in making others laugh and smile. He will be remembered for his reassuring presence and the love he so generously shared with those that were close to him. His spirit will live on and continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. While he will be missed immeasurably, he will never be forgotten.
