Alfred Jordan Cumberbatch, 35 Community mentor, amazing father to two little girls Alfred Jordan Cumberbatch, 35, of Staten Island, died May 30, 2017. Born in Queens, N.Y., Mr. Cumberbatch earned an associate degree and was a corrections officer for the New York City Department of Corrections. He enjoyed kung fu, weightlifting, sports, video games, travel, and politics, and was an admired community mentor and amazing father. He is survived by his wife of 5-1/2 years, Bethyana; daughters, Adrianna J. (5) and AnaMarie J. (2); parents, Stephen and Adrianne; siblings, Stephen (Amanda), Eric (Niya), Nicholas (Patrice), and sister-in-law, Cassandra (the late Christopher Cumberbatch). Visitation is at Casey Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 6, from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral services at 11 a.m.
