

Angelo Coniglione, 77, of Castleton Corners, Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on March 31, 2016. A lifelong Staten Island resident, Mr. Coniglione serv ed in the U.S. Coast Guard and held an M.B.A. in finance from Wagner College. He was a foreign exchange broker at Oppenheimer Corp. before retiring. Mr. Coniglione was a parishioner at St. Theresa's Church and had interests in the financial markets and teaching. He enjoyed skiing, fishing, home improvements, and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of UNICO and the Parent-Teachers Organization. Mr. Coniglione was the husband of 53 years to Josephine (Cataneo) Coniglione; father of Troy Coniglione, Cathy Campitiello (spouse Vincent Campitiello), Karen Contorno (spouse Stefan Contorno), and the grandfather of Kristen Coniglione, Matthew Coniglione, Christopher Fersini, Brian Fersini, Thomas Fersini, Katie Fersini, Jenna Contorno and Tyler Contorno. He also leaves his sister, Lucille Forlenza; his brothers, Vincent Coniglione and Dr. Thomas Coniglione, and four step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Agatino and Lucy Coniglione, and son-in-law, Louis Fersini Jr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave., Staten Island, N.Y. Mass is on Monday, April 4, at 10:45 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church
